1. Tea Set Basic Introduction
Welcome to our shop, here you can see our hand painted Chinese tea set. It is five-piece blue and white tea ceramic set, and tea porcelain set, including 1 teapot, and 4 small tea cups.
The teapot is about 250ml, 7.5cm high, 15cm from sprout to handle.
the small tea cups are about 50ml, 3cm high and 7.3cm in caliber.
2. Production Technique Information
Traditional Chinese blue and white porcelain is used for the gaiwan. Blue and white porcelain, refers to decoration painted with cobalt oxide on the body of vessel before glazing. The decoration is therefore under the glaze. Here the decoration is applied by hand, which is different from transfer printing and stenciling.
3. How to appreciate the hand painted gaiwan?
The ornament is hand painted visiting friends among mountains and streams. It is a good monumental landscape painting, showing a harmony of human and nature.
